Holly Hill is a Senior at Edmond North.
Holly has been acting for six years and hopes to be famous someday.
When she was younger, she tried many different activities, but none of them ever stuck — until she tried acting.
Once she found her passion, she realized that theatre was where she belonged.
“I have never felt more at home than when I am on a stage.”
Even though Holly found her place doing drama, real-life drama changed her life.
Freshman year, Holly’s mom had a stroke, changing her outlook on life.
“The thought of almost losing my mom urged me to live life to the fullest,” said Holly.
After her mom’s recovery, she started taking acting much more seriously. She has since been accepted to Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory in St. Louis, Missouri to pursue a BFA in acting.
Not only has she excelled at acting, but she’s also the Senior Editor of North’s newspaper The Pawprint, leading the online paper to win “best in state” two years in a row.
Holly has built some of her closest friendships through the newspaper, connecting with people she might never have met otherwise.
“Everyone on the newspaper staff have also been some of my favorite people to grow a relationship with because we’ve grown the program together, worked hard and shared lots of laughs along the way.”
Family and friends are at the heart of Holly’s life, and even as she moves on, she’ll carry them with her wherever she goes.
“So long as my friends and family are in my life, I will always have something important.”
