Tegan Singleton is a senior at Edmond North.
Tegan is the Senior Editor of the ENHS Pawprint Newspaper, and when she attends the University of New Mexico in the fall, she plans to join the staff of their newspaper program. She doesn’t yet know what she will do after college, but hopes her writing skills will carry over to what she ends up doing.
This year, Tegan has been working on writing hard-hitting articles and drawing comics for The Pawprint. She has won several first-place state prizes for her comics and articles.
She believes that being on the newspaper staff has given her a fulfilling high school experience, especially since she was able to lead the staff to win the 2025 Sweepstakes Award for the best high school newspaper in the state.
Assistant Editor of the Pawprint, Holly Hill, says Tegan will be missed.
“ When I first joined Newspaper I was very nervous to be in a new environment, but becoming friends with Tegan helped me a lot. Me and Tegan got close very quickly and I will cherish our friendship forever. When Tegan stepped into the role of Senior Editor this school year she handled it with so much grace. I cannot wait to see where Tegan’s future takes and I know her kind heart, encouraging words, and strong leadership will get her far.”
Before she leaves to go and prosper into the world of adulthood, the entire Pawprint staff want to give her an amazing farewell and tell her that she will be missed.
