Addie’s senior year is extra special since her dad, Mr. Inga, is the new head principal of Edmond North this year. Addie and her dad have a very close relationship. Since they enjoy being around each other, being at school is a positive environment for both of them.

Mrs. Hopper has been going to Edmond North for seven years. Her first four years were as a student from 2001-2005.

"There were times that I thought about giving up and dropping out of school. My teachers, like Coach Bloyd, were there for me and did everything they could to make sure I graduated on time despite what I was going through and the struggles I was facing outside of the classroom.”

Hopper reflects, “I knew that I could make a positive impact in the lives of students because of how my teachers changed my life for the better through their kindness and understanding when I needed it most. The great teachers I had are why I’m an educator today.”

Hopper loves to see her students become more confident in class. From essays to poetry, Hopper makes learning enjoyable. She loves to make connections with her students and make them feel comfortable. Her class feels like home.

Bloyd teaches World History and Teen Leadership at Edmond North. He also helps students recover credit for previously failed classes. He began teaching at North during Hopper’s junior year.

“Within the moment, I guess I didn’t realize the impact I was having (on Hopper). I feel like I’ve always tried to treat kids the way I would want to be treated.”

He wants to make an impact with his movies by helping people connect and feel validated.

When asked what Mason would do with any profits on his first smash hit, he said he would splurge on his mom and then donate some to charities that support mental health.

When her mother died last year, she thought her life was over.

Thank you, Harper, for showing us that even after dealing with hard things, you can still find the beauty in life.

She experienced healing by writing poetry.

Harper Holmberg is a Senior at Edmond North.

Through her poetry, she helped others mental health by allowing them to realize they weren’t alone in their grief.
