It seems like everytime we scroll through TikTok, we see slideshows full of “hear me outs”. If you’ve been living under a rock, “hear me outs” are fictional characters that are widely considered to be unattractive that some people find hot. To join in on this recent trend, our Husky Pawprint Staff has decided to compile a list of “hear me outs” that we agree or disagree with.

Peter Griffin from “Family Guy”
Peter Griffin, being the breadwinner in the family and a loyal friend to the gang at “The Clam”, might believe he’s the perfect family guy. His hottest trait definitely has to be his sense of humor, even if he’s a bit of a dimwit. However, he’s not a perfect father or husband. He constantly acts like a kid towards his wife, Lois, struggles to even interact with his children, Stewie and Chris and makes his daughter, Meg, wish she had a different father. The glasses are a big no unless we were into a middle-aged, American Harry Potter. His oddly shaped chin, resembling another part of his anatomy and his sinister sense of fashion make this an easy pick.
Overall, his personality isn’t giving the team a lot to work with. We AREN’T hearing you out!

Lorax from “The Lorax”
He is the protector of trees who speaks when they can’t. If you like short kings, the Lorax might just be your dream guy! He’s very caring, not just for trees, but for his forest neighbors as well. The Lorax will stand up for what’s right. Danny Devito (who is the voice of the Lorax) makes us think of an old and very grumpy man and although some love men with plenty of facial hair, the Lorax’s mustache makes his face seem too furry and his bushy eyebrows could use a lot of waxing. He seems like a nice individual, but unless you’re blind and maybe deaf, he might not be your cup of tea.
But what really did it for us was the bright orange spray tan and yellow hair. Our staff is not into that. We AREN’T hearing you out.

Waluigi from “Mario Tennis”
From the striking purple and the blue under his eyes, Waluigi is giving unique. That doesn’t make him bad; in fact, the staff loves a nonconformist. However, we’re not quite sure how we feel about his nose; it looks like he has a chronic cold. Not to mention that mustache. Talk about looking like a stereotypical villain. But we can’t deny he must be loaded with money after all his schemes with his brother and his ears might work if you’re into elves.
We ARE hearing you out…for the money, of course.

Linguini from “Ratatouille”
Linguini is a chef…well at least someone attempting to be one. And a man who can cook is automatically hot. He lives in France and even without an accent, he’s got to be romantic! He’s a pretty nice guy and relatively set on his goals, even if that means putting a rat in his hat just to get them. Yeah, rodents are definitely a major drawback. Although there’s nothing wrong with owning a mouse, having them fester in your hair might be a step too far. He’s a nice guy, but we don’t think we’d want to eat any food prepared by a literal rat.
The Pawprint staff has decided we AREN’T hearing you out!

Marge from “The Simpsons”
Marge is the epitome of a pretty housewife, hardworking, intelligent and caring. Unfortunately, she’s also a bit of a doormat, letting Homer be lazy and Bart be a delinquent. She tries to be understanding, but often she has no spine. We are a fan of the hair, however. The bright blue and four-foot height is definitely a feat. Despite her doormat tendency, she is a kind and forgiving person and of course, gorgeous.
We 100% ARE hearing you out.
There you have it. The Pawprint has spoken. Although some of those were a bit weird, I’m sure there’s worse “hear me outs” out there. If you’ve got any crazy “hear me outs” you want to share, or if you disagree, leave us a comment!

I really loved reading this article! I’m always talking about my hear me outs. I agree with some of them but the others I was a bit confused. I was very shocked that Linguini didn’t make it. I agree that rats are very gross but also Remmy is a very nice rat. I personally think that Lightning Mcqueen is a hear me out even though he is a car. His smile is great! Also I think that Olaf is a hear me out because he is so funny and so sweet!

Thanks for the input! Totally hearing you out on Lightning Mcqueen and Olaf.

I thought this was a very funny article! My friends and I are always talking about hear me outs, so I think this is the perfect article. I thought the people picked were very interesting, but now that I’ve read about them and your reasons I understand. I was very shocked that Linguini wasn’t approved, but I do agree rats are gross. I personally think Johnny from Sing is a better option. He can sing, play piano, he is kind, and he literally has a British accent. I also think Nick from Zootopia because he is funny, charming, and very foxy. Haha, because he is a fox! I have one more that we cannot leave out and that is Jinu! This one is a no brainer for sure. If you know you know, if you don’t, you need to look him up right away. I have so many more, but those are all I’ll share for now! Thank you so much for writing this article. It actually made me laugh so hard.

I enjoyed this article because it was something new and relevant to the readers, and it was also very funny. I think it was super cool how you highlighted the traits people saw in them. I’m surprised you didn’t as Nick Wilde from zootopia. All together, this article is super interesting because I haven’t heard some of the hear me outs before. The Lorax surprised me.

I thought that this article was an interesting and fun topic! I personally could not relate to any of these hear me outs, but I thought it was cool seeing your guys’ perspective. I also liked how the passage elaborated on all the traits of the characters, and not just based on how they looked. I thought the Lorax one was funny in saying that we aren’t hearing you out if you have a spray tan and a goatee. A hear me out that I would add is Marshall from Paw Patrol.

First of all I would like to say how creative this article is! I like how you turned a funny topic into a well thought out article. I disagree with the Peter Griffin hear me out though. Peter Griffin gets on my nerves but he is super funny. One of my hear me outs is Baymax from Big Hero Six. He is one of my hear me outs because he is so loveable.

I love this article! I like how you turned a silly/funny topic into a really good article! I disagree with Peter Griffin hear me out though. Peter Griffin gets on my nerves a lot, but he is really funny. One of my hear me outs is Baymax from Big Hero Six. He is one of my hear me outs because he is so loveable!

I thought it was a really good idea to say what hear me outs are, since some people might not know what they are. I don’t understand how some people find these fictional characters attractive but as they say “whatever floats your boat!” The Lorax is a little excessive though, since he literally loves trees. I don’t believe anyone who has the Lorax as a hear me out is a tree…

I loved the topic of this article. Hear me outs is such a funny topic and can be very controversial. I especially thought the Lorax was an interesting one. Though some were odd I loved getting to see others point of views on their hear me outs. I will however say I can agree with the ratatouille one.

I thought this was very interesting. I’m a little surprised that Linguini wasn’t approved. Rats are gross, yes, but Linguini is a hear-me-out. I’m also very surprised that no one mentioned Tadashi from Big Hero 6! Another one that I’ve heard is Lightning McQueen. I would say, not a hear-me-out, but I see the potential in him.
Sylvia Davis • Sep 10, 2025 at 12:22 pm
I definitely agree with Tadashi! I’m surprised anybody said Lighting Mcqueen too, personally a car is too much for me. Thank you for the feedback! 🙂

I really enjoyed this article. I liked how you guys changed it up and did something different and funny, but also something many people still would enjoy. I think this is something that could start a conversation with friends. Some of them I think the opposite, but I think adding the context on why you chose was great because people can debate on that. Overall, I think this was really good and something different that many people will enjoy to read

This was a very enlightening text. I definitely do not agree about Waluigi, have you heard his laugh? It sounds like a banjo getting ran over by a semi truck. I however believe Perry the platypus is a much finer option. I mean he will bring in bank with that super spy job, and he’s basically a personal body guard. He can’t speak so you know he wouldn’t talk back. All I would have to do is turn around and look up.
Sylvia Davis • Sep 10, 2025 at 12:24 pm
I personally think the money makes it worth it for Waluigi, and Perry is just not it for me. Thank you for your feedback!
