Mason Prince is a senior at Edmond North.
Mason has a passion for filmmaking. He didn’t discover his dream out of the blue; when he was younger, he saw a movie about fatherhood that inspired him and started his passion.
Since then, he has been encouraged by his family to pursue filmmaking as a career choice. Mason said he doesn’t want to make films that don’t serve a purpose; he wants to make an impact with his movies by helping people connect and feel validated. Mason’s planning on doing this so people can see themselves in characters he creates so that they would be able to find hope and encouragement in their struggles with mental health.
We’re predicting that Mason will be a huge success in Hollywood. When asked what Mason would do with any profits on his first smash hit, he said he would splurge on his mom and then donate some to charities that support mental health.
